Integrative Combat (IC) denotes a research area that applies the tenets of empirical reductionism to the study of martial arts. It offers a means to envision scientific research on combat and to illustrate the benefits of interconnectivity between diverse research interests making it possible to achieve new heights of technical knowledge and combative expertise.
