The Nadaam Festival is the biggest event in the Mongolian calendar. Athletes from all over the country come here to compete in the “manly sports” of horse racing, archery, and wrestling. Mongolian wrestling is probably the least learned and least watched martial art in the world. The author’s photo exposé brings the festival to us.
