The Lion Dance is an intensely physical art involving martial, historical, cultural, mythological, and superstitious beliefs. This article looks at this dance through its traditions and connections to martial art technique as taught by James Lore (Cantonese, Lor King Hung) who from Liao Huadai, an immigrant from Guangdong province.
