An Interview with Brian Frost on the Practice of Tameshiwari

Brian Frost is a 6th degree black-belt and holds a Kokusai Shihan Menkyo (international instructor’s license) in karate. He is a direct pupil of Onishi Eizo, chairman of the All-Japan Karate-Do Association. The interview focuses on the art of tameshiwari, “test breaking” techniques or speed and power. Tameshiwari training is discussed in detail.
