This article details one of the family styles once thought to have died out, the karate and weapon arts of the Kojo family. Kojo family records date back to the 1600’s and link Kojo-ryu karate to origins in Fuzhou China. In text and numerous illustrations, the author provides a thorough overview of its history, development, and fighting system.
