The Leg Lock: Technique of Contrasts

The leg lock is a finishing or submission hold that attacks any part of the leg from the hip to the toe. The powerful and versatile leg lock has many positive and negative aspects associated with it. This article discusses these contrasts, and counters. The author and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu expert Renzo Gracie illustrate a variety of leg locks.
