The aging process bring about a diminishing in body functions, including a decrease in lung capacity. This article presents a scientific study of 100 students (ages 20 to 71) who have been practicing qigong breathing forms for at least four months. Results are charted, showing that qigong practices increase lung capacity. A national average is compared.
